These people get angry easily and will most of the times be violent. Another cause of violence is substance abuse. The situation at the work place could also contribute to violence at the work place. People who have low skills may get intimidated and may be violent at times. How seniors handle their juniors could also contribute to violence.
Preventing Violence at the workplace
The first thing establishing severe punishments to deal with those found to be violent. This may not yield good results at times because you may never get the truth and may end up punishing the wrong person. Prevention is better. This can be done by been keen during the hiring process. Do not hire individuals with past traits of violence. Employers should also organize bonding sessions for their employees. This enhances relationships and creates good working relationships.
