Composing An Outline For A Problem Solution Essay About Peer Pressure
If you are tasked with writing a problem solution essay about peer pressure, your job is to find a problem and offer a convincing solution for it. But before you present a great paper, you need a great outline.
- When you create an outline for your paper you should know that there is no set requirement. The outline can be something very comprehensive with full sentences the niece each bullet point but it can also be something less structured with multiple bullet points and fragmented sentences. The choice is really up to you. You can choose whichever method is most comfortable for you. Each student has an individual learning preference and the outline is a great opportunity for students to figure out which preference they have and to employ
- With a solid outline in place you can begin the writing phase of your final product. The outline should be followed as you are working on your piece but you do not have to follow it strictly. For example if you begin writing and you find midway through the process that you have come across a new piece of evidence which you naturally integrated into an existing chapter , that is perfectly acceptable even if that piece of information or evidence was not previously located inside of your outline. When you are writing you must make sure that you do not limit your self to writing in order of the overall structure. This means that you do not have to start with the introduction just because it is the first component of your final product.
- You can choose to start writing whatever part of your final piece is readiest or the most prepared. If you feel most comfortable creating your methods section or the third paragraph in your body, then do so. You do not have to force yourself to write your introduction first and your conclusion last. In fact many students choose to write the introductory paragraph as the last thing in their entire piece due primarily to the fact that you cannot write a good introduction or conclusion until you know exactly what pieces of information you are going to present in the body of your text. By waiting until you have completed the body of your text you give yourself the opportunity to make the best introduction and conclusion possible.
